A Story of Family
Our expertise is based on creating spaces designed to set new benchmarks, redefining standards of excellence in every field.
1958
The history of the Madar Group
Raoul Madar laid the first stone of this family real estate business by acquiring its first building on Rue de la Bûcherie, in the heart of the 5th arrondissement in Paris.
Between 1958 and 2001, Raoul conducted numerous operations to enhance Parisian buildings, transforming them before converting them into condominiums and selling them. These projects allowed the family business to develop a deep expertise in the Parisian real estate sector.
2001
Creation of Forum Patrimoine
In light of the expanding office market, Raoul Madar created Forum Patrimoine, a real estate investment vehicle dedicated to office acquisitions.
This strategic turning point marked a significant diversification and opened new prospects for the group. Until then, the Madar Group had specialized in a portfolio rotation strategy once value creation was achieved. Today, Forum Patrimoine owns over 100 office properties in Paris.
2003
Creation of Pardes Patrimoine
To broaden its real estate portfolio beyond office properties, the Madar Group launched Pardes Patrimoine, its vehicle dedicated to acquiring retail spaces. This initiative strengthened the Group’s presence in the retail sector, particularly in local commerce, through the acquisition of ground-floor properties in city centers (mainly in Paris and St-Tropez). Today, Pardes Patrimoine owns more than 800 retail assets.
2006
First Steps Internationally
The Madar Group expanded beyond mainland France by establishing a presence in Saint-Barthélemy, with the goal of building high-end homes. Since 2006, the Group has developed more than 15 luxury villas in Saint-Barthélemy.
2014
Beaugrenelle - A Strategic Acquisition
In partnership with FSJ and APSYS, the Madar Group acquired the Beaugrenelle shopping center in Paris, a major shopping destination with 120 boutiques and restaurants spanning over 65,000sqm. This significant project strengthened the Group’s position as a key player in the local retail investment sector.
2019
Heading to Ibiza & investissement in F&B (food & beverage)
The Group established itself in the heart of the Marina of Ibiza by acquiring land for the future Isla Blanca shopping center. This second international expansion underscores the Madar Group’s ambition to establish itself in iconic locations. In the same year, the Group also decided to invest in the redevelopment of the Palm Beach in Cannes, with the aim of developing a large-scale event and F&B complex for the Riviera.
2020
Expansion in Monaco
The Madar Group continued its international expansion by acquiring the Port Palace hotel in Monaco. This hotel, located in the heart of the marina of the City-state, strengthened the Group’s hotel portfolio.
2023
Development of Luxury Villas on Fisher Island, Miami
The family business is developing a collection of high-end villas on the prestigious Fisher Island in Miami. These development projects, also known as the “Mansions at Fisher Island”, mark the Group’s fourth international expansion and demonstrate its commitment to redefining excellence standards across all sectors, particularly residential development across the Atlantic.
